I have trialled my dogs in Sweden and abroad. I have two times qualified a dog for the Irish Championship. We keep stud dogs and bitches, I myself prefer training and competing with the boys. I have been a judge for over ten years now and have been judging WT abroad a number of times, amongst them Skinners International at Highclere Castle. I am also an International Field trial judge and have been judging open trials in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Ireland. I am very flattered to have been invited to your club and look forward to meet you all! |

My name is Birgitta Staflund Wiberg. I have been in to gundogs for thirty years now, and it seems like if you are ever bitten by the bug, you are a forever enthusiast. I am a shooting person and a trialling person myself as well as a breeder of labradors. I work proffesionally as a gundog trainer. We keep 12-14 dogs in the kennels at the farm, most of them labradors but also ESS and border terrier, all for shooting purposes.
Retrievers are my great passion for nearly twenty years now. Right from the beginning I was very fascinated about their abilities in the shooting field. Besides from picking up, it was inevitable that I began to compete on “classical german hunting tests”, cold game tests, field trials and apart from the shooting season on working tests all over Europe.
Over the years I competed seven times at the International Working Test with at least three different dogs. I also represented Germany several times at the Skinners World Cup in Sherborne and at the UK Game Fair.
